A Mercedes driver almost mowed down a pedestrian as they led police on a 100mph chase before crashing into a tree.
The pursuit began after officers were alerted to reports that a Mercedes CLC had been stolen and was heading towards Greater Manchester.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) caught up with the car and began pursuing the Mercedes and another vehicle on Hollyhedge Road, in Wythenshawe.
Shocking dashcam footage showed the moment police began pursuing the two vehicles at speed, as the cars ran red lights and one driver veered onto the wrong side of the road.
