Actor Iain Robertson raped a woman during a holiday in the north of England, a court was told.
The former River City star is alleged to have physically assaulted the woman ‘on various occasions’, and to have behaved in a ‘disorderly manner’ towards her.
The 45-year-old is further charged with raping another woman ‘on various occasions’ between 2018 and 2019, as well as offences involving two other women.
Robertson denies eight charges between 2004 and 2020.
He joined Glasgow-based BBC soap opera River City in 2017, having previously played Lex in the cult gang film Small Faces.
