A British motorbike rider was left fighting for his life after a head-on collision with a car in northern Spain yesterday.
The 64-year-old was rushed to hospital in an air ambulance and is said to be in a ‘very serious’ condition following the crash.
He collided with a pick-up truck driven by a 50-year-old Spanish woman as he rode his motorbike on the N-260 road in the municipality of Montanuy, close to the Catalan border.
Emergency medical responders treated him at the scene before taking him to Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in the city of Lerida 85 miles south of the crash.
