Actor David Daker has passed away aged 90. The Wolverhampton-born star was best known for the popular ITV comedy-drama Boon, in which he played Ken Boon’s best friend Harry Crawford.
David died on April 30, but his family only released the news to fans on Sunday, and did not give a cause of death.
His got his break-out role in 1967, playing PC Owen Culshaw in the BBC hit drama Z Cars. Although David branded his character ‘a rather colourless character’, he starred in 84 episodes over a ten-year period.
