England fans have been out in force in Boston ahead of their second World Cup match against Ghana, though their behaviour has not won over locals in the same way as Scotland’s much-loved Tartan Army.

The Three Lions opened their campaign with an emphatic 4-2 win over Croatia in Dallas, fuelling optimism among supporters. More than 14,000 have since descended on Boston for the second group-stage clash, with large, noisy gatherings forming across the downtown area.
