South London now has quality bagels. Banook, founded by Mah and David Dalrymple as a mico-bakery in lockdown, now has a permanent home in East Dulwich. It’s already well-loved locally and might be worth a visit from farther afield. The bagels include poppyseed and sesame and fillings include — in season — wild garlic, ham, cheese and mustard, and watermelon radish, cucumber, pickled red onion, and cress on herb and lemon cream cheese.
