The report into the care of mothers and babies at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust lays bare in heartbreaking detail how women’s pleas for help were ignored, while warnings were brushed under the carpet by bosses.
Over ten years, 156 babies and six mothers died because of poor care. Hundreds more suffered serious, long-term injuries, including brain damage.
