Katie Waissel is back in hospital with a suspected blood clot on her lung – almost two days after she was discharged while recovering from severe bacterial pneumonia.
The singer, 40, who finished seventh on the ITV singing competition in 2010, was admitted to the private Wellington Hospital in London for scans and tests as her battle with the serious lung infection continues.
In an X post, published on Thursday, Katie penned: ‘After a day and a half at home, I’m now BACK at the hospital and not doing so great.
