An investigation is underway after the late Ricky Hatton‘s car was torched in a ‘targeted attack’ outside his son Campbell’s home in Tameside.
Police and fire crews were called to a residential street in Hattersley, Hyde, after the blaze broke out on Monday night.
The incident, which also saw a front window smashed, occurred the evening before a gas leak in the area.
A major investigation is now underway after the property’s driveway was left charred and covered in burnt debris.
In a post on social media, boxer Campbell Hatton said the vehicle was his late father’s, former boxing world champion Ricky Hatton.
