A woman who sued the Met Police after a 999 call handler made inappropriate comments about Sarah Everard and called a rape victim a ‘slut’ has won a six-figure payout.
Issy Vine, 30, reached the settlement after suing her former employer for constructive dismissal, claiming a male colleague made a series of offensive remarks during a shift before following her home.
Ms Vine, from Wimbledon, south west London, formally complained about her co-worker, leading to his dismissal for gross misconduct in November 2023.
