A person has been hospitalised after a jet ski rider ploughed into an inflatable carrying two children off the coast of Hampshire.
Emergency services rushed to the scene near Calshot Activity Centre at around 6pm yesterday.
An adult was seriously injured and taken to hospital while the rider of the jet ski was unharmed.
Two children onboard the inflatable were brought ‘safely ashore’.
HM Coastguard confirmed a large response to the incident including lifeboats, the Coastguard Rescue Team, police cars and ambulances.
Access points were closed from the far right of the car park down to the activity centre car park.
