Struggling workers are deciding to stop paying into their pensions as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite, research shows.
Some 13 per cent of Britons who currently contribute, or have previously contributed, to a pension have halted payments due to mounting financial pressures, savings provider Moneybox reports.
A further 4 per cent of employees are planning to stop contributions within the next six months, and 3 per cent expect to do so at some point in the future.
