An Afghan lorry migrant has admitted to the ‘frenzied’ killing of a dog walker after stabbing his landlord and a teenage boy.
Dawood Safi, 23, was charged with murdering Wayne Broadhurst in Midhurst Gardens in Uxbridge on October 27, 2025.
He today pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Mr Broadhurst via ‘diminished responsibility’ because of his psychotic state.
At a previous hearing he also admitted lesser charges of grievous bodily harm with intent relating to his landlord, Shahzad Farrukh, and actual bodily harm in relation to the 14-year-old boy.
Safi will still stand trial for the attempted murder of both – despite his manslaughter pleas
