Dustin Poirier has laid into Conor McGregor after his disastrous UFC comeback, insisting the Irishman’s injury was ‘karma’ for being a ‘dirtbag.’
After five years away from the sport, McGregor made his long-awaited return against Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas.
But the 38-year-old injured his knee in the opening seconds after sprinting out and throwing a kick that missed his rival.
‘I am beyond dark here,’ McGregor said after the fight was called off just 69 seconds into the first round. ‘I can only describe it as hell.’
But Poirier, who has fought the Irishman three times in the Octagon, had little sympathy
