Young girl is seriously injured in ‘motorbike hit-and-run’: Hunt launched for ‘teenagers in balaclavas’

A young girl has been seriously injured after a motorbike ridden by two teenagers wearing balaclavas collided with her pushbike in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

The girl had been riding the pushbike on a footpath near Cambrian when she was hit by the motorbike around 4.10pm on Monday, police said.

Both the rider and the passenger were wearing all black and balaclavas with no helmets.

Staffordshire Police said the riders, who were aged around 16 to 17, did not stop after hitting the girl and rode off towards Stonydelph.

Officers were called around 4.20pm alongside an air ambulance, which was pictured landing near a children’s play
