Argentinian golfer taunts English golf fans with Enzo Fernandez’s World Cup celebration after sinking monster putt at The Open – just HOURS after Three Lions were sent packing from the tournament

Argentinian amateur Mateo Pulcini celebrated his birdie on the 18th by cupping his ears to the crowd, emulating Enzo Fernandez’s taunt after his equaliser in their World Cup semi-final victory over England.

Pulcini, the only Argentinian in the field at Royal Birkdale, sunk a 40-footer on the final hole and, despite his risky celebration, received huge cheers from the grandstand.

‘They haven’t quite worked out where he’s from,’ remarked the television commentator, though one spectator was heard shouting ‘Vamos!’.
