A couple who sold all of their belongings to buy an abandoned three-acre caravan park in Wales for £90,000 are transforming it into a ‘dream’ off-grid campsite.
Jon and Emilie James, 36 and 37, relocated to the derelict site in Llanelli in June 2022 with their dog Maggie, after selling their home for £132,000.
After purchasing the land mortgage free and with just £500 left in the bank, the couple soon got to work on restoring the campsite which had been left abandoned for more than 30 years.
