A man has appeared in court charged with attempted rape on a London Underground train.
Vincent Saxon, 54, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday after the alleged attack last Saturday.
Detectives previously said a man had approached a woman travelling alone on a Bakerloo line train between Waterloo and Lambeth North in central London around 11.40pm.
They added he allegedly indecently exposed himself to the woman before pulling her to the floor and attempting to rape her in the carriage, though she resisted and escaped the train at Lambeth North before reporting the behaviour.
