The UK Government has signed off £153million in foreign aid for Pakistan – despite the country refusing to take back grooming gang boss Shabir Ahmed.

The Foreign Office revealed the bumper package for the next three years, despite Downing Street‘s claim that it was doing ‘everything possible’ to deport Ahmed.

He was released from prison last month after serving 14 years for a string of child sex offences, including rape, in Rochdale – but Islamabad blamed Britain for his crimes.
