Adam Peaty-Ramsay missed out on his 33rd major gold medal as he finished in third place in the 100m breaststroke final at the Commonwealth Games on Saturday.

The 18year-old from Jersey Filip Nowacki finished ahead of his idol in second, but gold went to Australian Sam Williamson.

Williamson finished in 59.17 seconds, while Nowacki was milliseconds behind at 59.34 and Ramsay-Peaty behind him at 59.65.

His pregnant Holly Ramsay couldn’t contain her smile as she arrived to watch husband Adam compete in the final.

The daughter of TV chef Gordon Ramsay, 26, looked excited as she took her seat in the crowd to watch her partner, 31.
