Police have launched a murder investigation after a 17-year-old boy died following a stabbing in a park in Luton.
Bedfordshire Police said officers were called to Kingsway Recreation Ground shortly after 6.30pm on Friday.
They arrived at the scene following reports of disorder, where ‘a number of teenagers’ were seen ‘carrying large knives’.
A teenage boy was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds but died a short time later, the force said.
The victim has not yet been formally identified. However, family are being supported by specially trained officers.
