A little girl and her father were forced to have their limbs amputated after a horrific crash involving a quad bike and van, a court has heard.
The van driver appeared in court on Monday charged with causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice.
The defendant, Brannon Mullan, 36, from Shanmullagh Park, in Draperstown, Northern Ireland, also stands accused of driving after consuming excess alcohol, having an incorrect registration mark and failing to notify ownership of the vehicle.
He has been refused bail after a father and daughter sustained ‘serious, life-changing injuries’ in the two-vehicle collision.
