Influencers have been blamed for creating huge queues in a pristine part of the Dolomites after sparking a craze for pictures in front of famous mountain peaks.

Streams of tourists have been lining the streets waiting to climb up to see the Tre Cime di Lavaredo landmarkwith the region’s authorities admitting its services have reached full capacity. 

Many travel influencers have taken to posting about their hikes in the Dolomites in the last several months, boasting glorious views, picturesque landscapes and untouched wildlife from the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
