Amanda Abbington ‘is set to make her TV comeback in detective thriller’ after lengthy hiatus from screens following Strictly scandal

Amanda Abbington is set to make her TV comeback, according to reports. 

The actress, 52, has had a lengthy hiatus from screens after her dramatic exit from Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. 

But now, Amanda is set to star in the second series of Apple TV’s Down Cemetery Road, by Slow Horses writer Mick Herron, reports The Sun.

She will join a star-studded cast, with Emma Thompson returning as private investigator Zoë Boehm and serving as executive producer and Ruth Wilson reprising her role as Sarah Trafford.
