A Louisiana man who languished on death row for more than 25 years has seen his murder conviction overturned after a disturbing video cast doubt on the evidence used against him.

Jimmie ‘Chris’ Duncan, 57, has long fought the accusation that he raped and killed his girlfriend’s toddler, Haley Oliveaux, even as he spent 27 years on death row.

His relief finally came last month when the Louisiana Supreme Court voted unanimously to overturn his murder conviction after it was revealed that the bite marks evidence used against him at trial was fraudulent, NBC News reports.
