A pedestrian has died after being struck by a road sweeper in a Manchester suburb.
Emergency services were called to Little Hulton in Salford on Tuesday morning following reports a 64–year–old had been seriously injured.
The victim was taken to hospital but passed away yesterday afternoon.
The driver of the road sweeper, a 39-year-old man, was not injured in the collision, which took place on Cleggs Lane at around 8.16am.
Greater Manchester Police said no arrests have been made while investigations continue.
The force said it is now appealing for further information and witnesses.
