Goodwood revellers get creative as they smuggle mystery bottles into venue…where a small champagne costs £20

British ingenuity was on full display for day four of Goodwood, as racegoers were spotted sneaking in mystery mini-bottles by taping them to their legs.

Fashionable, figure-hugging frocks appeared to conceal 100ml cosmetics containers – often used for travel – as guests made their way to the glamorous venue at Chichester, West Sussex.

While there is a full bar on-site, revellers will have to pay a whopping £19.95 for a small bottle of champagne, while a bottle of Provence rosé will set people back by £52.50.

A glass of red or white wine is £8.75, according to a drinks menu from the Barracks
