Paddy Power predict under-fire Gianni Infantino WILL remain as FIFA president at the end of the year – despite huge backlash over controversial World Cup scheme

Paddy Power believe Gianni Infantino will still be FIFA president by the end of the year – despite widespread condemnation of his plans to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors.

Infantino, 56, is facing a rebellion from his members and is under pressure to quit but is odds-on at 1/4 with Paddy Power to keep his job, with the next election scheduled for March 2027.

The controversial Swiss-Italian is 3/1 not to be at the helm of FIFA on December 31.

The bookmaker earlier brutally put the boot in on FIFA and Infantino over the governing body’s jaw-dropping private investment plans
