Amanda Knox has insisted Meredith Kercher would have found her new stand-up show about the student’s murder funny.
Knox, 39, was twice convicted and twice cleared of the 2007 murder before Italy‘s Supreme Court acquitted her for good in 2015.
The mother-of-two is now bringing the ordeal to the stage in a new stand-up show, reportedly titled Cartwheel, which she hopes will help her own children understand what happened to her.
But the Kercher family’s lawyer, Francesco Maresca, has branded the show ‘offensive and deplorable’, telling the Scottish Sun on Sunday he had ‘lost all hope’ Knox could comprehend their feelings.
