A teenage boy who was allegedly groomed and molested by his juvenile therapist has vanished amid fears he ran away to be with her, his mother has claimed.
The California teen, who has not been identified as he is underage, was allegedly groomed by therapist Sofia Drotts, 26, when he was in detention at Contra Costa County juvenile hall from 2024 until April this year.
Drotts was arrested earlier this month and hit with felony charges including unlawful sexual intercourse, and was released on bail.
