The father of murdered beautician Elle Edwards has criticised Labour’s soft justice scheme as a ‘kick in the teeth’ after the thug who helped her killer is set to be freed from prison early.

Elle Edwards, 26, was killed by gunman Connor Chapman, 25, who fired a Skorpion sub-machine gun into a group of people outside the Lighthouse pub in Wallasey Village in Wirral, Merseyside, on Christmas Eve 2022.
