A major motorway will be closed for the majority of the day after suspected human remains were found near a bridge.
Road workers made the discovery between junctions three and four of the M67 in Tameside, Greater Manchester, on Monday night.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called shortly after 11pm and began a probe to ‘understand the circumstances behind the incident’.
