A 25-year-old sixth-form dropout is on the verge of becoming Britain’s newest tech billionaire – after his company was valued at £2.5billion following a nine-figure investment round.

James Dacombe’s firm Olix is hoping to capitalise on the overwhelming demand for the extremely powerful computer chips needed to run artificial intelligence software.
