Police have seized more than €950,000 worth of crystal meth and cannabis from a passenger’s luggage at Dublin Airport.
The drugs were found vacuum-packed in the baggage of a person who had got off a flight from Canada.
A woman has been detained since the discovery of the drugs which are valued at around £813,000.
Revenue officers, with the help of a detector dog called Charlie, found an estimated 29kg of herbal cannabis and 6kg of crystal methamphetamine in the luggage.
