POLL OF THE DAY: Is university worth the money any more?

Degree courses with some of the UK’s worst employment records will be trying to scoop up students in Clearing on A-level Results Day this Thursday.

New analysis by the Daily Mail has identified the top 20 course groupings, by university, for graduates being out of work five years after leaving.

The worst one had almost a quarter of graduates out of work, while the median salary for those that did work was just £24,900. The top 20 all had at least one in six graduates out of work, while five have median salaries of less than £25,000.
