A mother-of-two whose winning lottery ticket was thrown in the bin by a shopkeeper in error is set to scoop the £12million jackpot.
Kath Main, 46, says her winning numbers were binned after they failed to register on the machine at Londis in Abercynon.
Following an investigation, National Lottery operator Allwyn has now concluded she will receive the cash, as long as no one else claims it before December 3.
Ms Main, from Pontypridd, South Wales, plans to use some of the money to go on a Lions rugby tour of New Zealand, She said she feels ‘sick all the time’ as she awaits the deadline.
