A dead body was found at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic, on Tuesday morning, the club have revealed.
In a statement on Tuesday evening, Charlton said that ‘a deceased individual’ had been discovered following an incident that occurred on Monday.
They added the club were ‘supporting the police with their enquiries’ and confirmed the individual was a male.
