A Colorado man has been arrested for allegedly killing his art teacher wife after an investigation uncovered his secret double life.
Patrick Theodore ‘Ted’ Barnett, 40, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder on Thursday, just hours after he called Lakewood police to his and his wife Lindsey Barnett’s bloodstained house on South Welch Circle.
He had told authorities in the phone call shortly after 6am that he found Lindsey unresponsive and not breathing in the shower, and that she had apparently cut her throat, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Denver Post.
