An American singer who fell for a Scottish football fan during the Tartan Army’s takeover of Boston during the World Cup has revealed she has ended her romance with him over after it was revealed her former lover is facing possible criminal charges.
Jill Roberts, 42, met Scotsman Tommy Morrison, 38, during the World Cup, which was being held in cities across the US including the capital of Massachusetts.
First meeting in June, the pair went viral online after Jill shared a video in which she asked Tommy what he liked most about Boston.
In an instant, he confidently replied to her: ‘You.’
