Britain’s huge new £500m water wonderland takes shape – with 25 waterslides, a beach and pools set to attract millions of visitors a year

Construction for Britain’s new £500 million water wonderland has hit an ‘exciting’ milestone.

Therme Manchester is set to be complete by late 2028 and is expected to attract an impressive 1.7 million visitors in its first year. 

It will be the first urban wellbeing resort in the UK and has been designed ‘to deliver an immersive experience combining water, nature, and relaxation’.

The attraction will offer a range of experiences – from thrilling waterslides and pools perfect for family fun, to facilities designed for unwinding like saunas, steam rooms and botanical gardens.
