Comedian Janey Godley left a £450,000 estate to her family after her death from ovarian cancer at the age of 63, documents show.

The Glasgow performer, who won viral fame with video voiceover spoofs of Nicola Sturgeon during the Covid-19 pandemic, died in a hospice in November 2024.

She was surrounded by friends and family, after revealing she was receiving end of life care.

Documents lodged at Glasgow Sheriff Court reveal she had an estate worth £448,515 at the time of her death.

Her husband Sean Storrie and daughter Ashley were named as executors in her will that was signed in 2021.
