A missing cat named Ginge has been found 86 miles away from his home almost a year after disappearing.
Lucy Roche, volunteer branch leader for Cat Action Trust 1977, found Ginge among a feral cat colony in Garforth in Leeds.
She noticed that the cat was much tamer than the feral cats and took him to the vets.
There, a microchip revealed Ginge belonged to an owner more than 86 miles away in Sunderland.
Ms Roche said that the owner was in a ‘flood of tears when she called to tell her he had been found and could not believe her missing pet was coming
