The owner of a Swiss bar that was destroyed in a deadly fire on New Year’s Eve has been arrested for domestic abuse against his wife.
Jacques Moretti, 49, is being held over claims of violence against his wife Jessica, 41, at the couple’s home in Switzerland.
Mrs Moretti was reportedly taken to hospital on August 11.
Mr Moretti was arrested at their home in Valais and ‘placed in pre-trial detention’, according to an investigating source. He is now being held for a variety of domestic violence charges.
