This is the moment a police officer borrowed a man’s bicycle to chase down an alleged thief through the streets of London.
In bodycam footage, an officer can be seen pursuing a cycling suspect by car through the streets of Twickenham in south west London.
Realising he needs to carry on the chase on foot, the Metropolitan Police officer exits his car and starts running after the man.
But he then passes a member of the public with a bike – who kindly asks: ‘Do you guys want to chase him on this?’.
