The RSPCA has issued an urgent plea for teddies to give to abandoned kittens.
One of the charity’s animal rescue centres in Birmingham has put out the call for the orphaned felines to have something to cuddle.
The shelter currently has 113 cats, with 51 looked after on site and another 62 living with foster families.
Of these cats, 11 are kittens which the RSPCA say need ’round-the-clock’ care at the Birmingham Animal Centre on Newbrook Farm in Frankley Green.
But cuddly toys could help bring these adorable orphans out of their shell and provide them with warmth and assurance, according to the charity.
