The distraught father of a 26-year-old British man who was shot dead in the US has remembered his son as having ‘a heart of gold’ as police launched a murder probe.
Jamie Thomas Stephen Lomas was killed after a ‘domestic disturbance’ at a house close to Lake Youngs, a reservoir near the city of Kent in Washington state.
Mr Lomas died from ‘multiple gunshot wounds’ following the incident just after midday last Saturday, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
