Beartooth singer Caleb Shomo says he faced ‘a lot of homophobia’ after he came out as gay and divorced his wife

Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo is opening up about the vitriol he faced after coming out as gay this past May.

Speaking on The Break Down with Nath & Johnny podcast, he said he was he was subjected to ‘homophobia’ earlier this year, after revealing his sexual orientation and later divorcing his wife of 14 years.

‘I had already decided, like, I’m not gonna water myself down at all. I’m going to just do what I wanna do. I’m gonna wear what I wanna wear. I’m gonna sing how I wanna sing,’ Caleb, 33, recalled.
