A pair of baby snow leopard cubs put their best paws forward to venture outside for the first time since they were born 13 weeks ago at a Hampshire zoo.
Male cub Momo, Tibetan for ‘dumpling’, and female Nima, meaning ‘sun’, received their second round of vaccinations and are now becoming more ‘adventurous’, their keepers reported.
They were born to Zaya, three, and Warjun, four, in May, becoming the first snow leopard cubs to arrive at Marwell Zoo in 13 years.
Snow leopards are classified as ‘vulnerable’ on the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List, meaning they are at high risk
