A knife-wielding woman was shot and killed by police officers in New York City on Monday after she allegedly went on a stabbing spree in the heart of Times Square, killing one.
The unidentified woman had stabbed a woman and a man just before 4.30pm at the intersection of West 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan’s busy downtown, sources told the New York Post.
She then fled north toward the New York Police Department substation, where police confronted her.
