A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder following a house fire which killed a seven-year-old girl and her aunt in Middlesbrough.
Valentina Foster and her aunt, Natalie McDonald, 34, were killed when a home went up in flames in Grangetown just after 5am on Wednesday.
Both died in the blaze, while four others were injured.
Cleveland Police said a 23-year-old man, earlier named as Jaden Wright, had been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent and two counts of attempted section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is scheduled to appear at Teesside
